Agricola is produced by the National Agriculture Library. Agricola indexes 2,500 journals as well as state, federal and foreign documents. This interface features an option to search for books or for journal articles. Search the catalog of the Library of Congress for books, journal titles (not individual articles), and other sources of information. PubMed is produced by the National Library of Medicine. It indexes 4300 journals focusing on clinical medical information and all aspects of biomedicine. Includes information on the physical and biological sciences as they relate to medicine. Google launched a service directed at academics and scientists looking for scholarly material. "Google Scholar" provides access to peer-reviewed papers, books, and technical reports, as well as information about locating scholarly work available at libraries but not online. |
