Alcan Packaging Honored With American Meat Institute 2007 Supplier of the Year Award

CHICAGO, Ill., October 26, 2007 — Alcan Packaging Food Americas of Chicago, Ill., today was named the American Meat Institute’s (AMI) 2007 Supplier of the Year Award. The award was presented during AMI’s International Meat, Poultry & Seafood Convention & Exposition, October 24-27, 2007, in Chicago, Ill.

The Supplier of the Year Award is given to a supplier member of AMI that truly partners with meat and poultry processors to help achieve industry goals. Alcan Packaging is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of flexible food packaging and known for high quality packaging solutions – something vital to the safety, integrity and quality of meat and poultry products. Alcan has been a major supporter of AMI and has provided important leadership through the company’s role on the Supplier Committee.
