Washington, D.C., – The 2007
Annual Meat Conference begins next week, but
you still have time to register for the best
opportunity to understand how consumer’ meat
mindsets and purchasing habits
work.
Attendees of the Conference, Feb.
18-20, 2007, at the Caribe Royale All-Suites
Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.,
will have exclusive access to new research
highlighting consumer shopping and purchasing
habits. Other sessions include hands-on
demonstrations that will provide the latest
strategies to drive consumers straight to the
meat case, sessions on the growth of natural
and organic products and many more topics not
found anywhere else.
Back for another
year is the Product Tasting Reception, one of
the most popular events of the Conference. The
reception provides an opportunity, not just to
see, but to taste some of the newest and most
innovative meat and poultry products in the
marketplace.
The Conference also offers
a special first-timer registration rate of $300
for executives from retailer/wholesaler member
companies who have not attended the conference
during the previous three years – a savings of
more than 50 percent over the regular
registration rate. For additional information,
call (202) 220-0708.
Co-sponsored by
AMI and FMI, the conference has become the
industry’s leading meat marketing and
operations educational program, designed to
bring together every segment of the retail meat
and poultry supply chain. Associate sponsors
include the American Lamb Board, Canadian Meat
Council, National Chicken Council, National
Pork Board, The Beef Checkoff and National
Turkey Federation.
Online registration
is now closed, but can be completed at the
conference. Registration is $695 per person
($645 for three or more registrations from the
same company). Five or more
retailers/wholesalers, representing member
companies attending together receive the
special group discount of $515 per
person.
