HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Seven new
members of the AMI Board of Directors were
elected today during AMI’s Annual Business
Meeting held during the Innovation Showcase,
October 4-6, 2006, in Hollywood, Florida. The
new members will serve a three-year term,
ending December, 2009.
The new members
of AMI’s Board of Directors include:

• Gary Cooper,
Vice President and COO, Cooper Farms, Oakwood,

• Karl Deily, Vice President, Marketing

• Nick Meriggioli,
Group Vice President and President, N.A.
Convenient Meals Sector, Kraft Foods, Madison,

• Rick Hoffman, CEO, Triumph Foods, Saint

• Scott Scriven, President and
CEO, Weber, Inc., Kansas City, MO
In
addition, three American Meat Institute (AMI)
members were elected to the Institute's
Executive Committee to serve one-year terms
from 2006-2007. The three new members are:
• Bill Barnette, III, Vice President,
Carolina Pride Foods, Inc., Greenwood,
S.C.
• Nick Meriggioli, Group Vice President
and President, N.A. Convenient Meals Sector,
Kraft Foods, Madison, WI
• Jim Ransom,
President, Curwood, Inc., Oshkosh, WI
